Overview
Little Rock Air Force Base is located approximately 17 miles northeast of downtown Little Rock, Arkansas, near the city of Jacksonville. Established in 1955, the installation is home to the 19th Airlift Wing and serves as the primary training base for the C-130 Hercules airlifter in the U.S. military, training aircrews and maintenance personnel from all U.S. military services and allied nations. The base plays a critical role in tactical airlift operations and global mobility.
