Overview
Robins Air Force Base is located in Warner Robins, Georgia, approximately 18 miles south of Macon, and is the largest single employer in the state of Georgia with approximately 26,000 military and civilian employees. Home of the Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex (WR-ALC), Robins is one of three Air Logistics Complexes in the Air Force and provides depot-level maintenance, overhaul, and modification of aircraft and related systems. The 78th Air Base Wing serves as the installation host unit. Robins is also home to Air Force Materiel Command’s Program Executive Office for C2ISR and several major units including the 116th Air Control Wing (Air National Guard) operating the E-8C JSTARS, though E-8C operations are transitioning.
