Naval Station Everett is in Everett, Washington, the county seat and largest city of Snohomish County, 25 miles north of Seattle, according to the MilitaryINSTALLATIONS overview of Naval Station Everett. The station’s mission is shore support for Navy and Coast Guard forces and quality of life for Sailors, civilians and their families, per the Naval Station Everett MilitaryINSTALLATIONS page.

Checking in

Newly arriving personnel check in with the ACDO (425-508-2946) or the CDO (425-418-2147) and can be met at the Visitor Control Center or Building 2000, per the check-in page. Sailors attached to a ship go directly to the ship; if it is not in port, you are assigned to a Temporary Personnel Unit until it returns or transportation is arranged (Transient Personnel Detachment duty phone 425-213-6883).

Reserve temporary quarters early in your trip planning. The page says single Sailors will most likely be given a room in the Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (425-304-3111), while married Sailors without children and families with children or pets may stay at the Navy Lodge (800-628-9466).

The check-in page says the Fleet and Family Support Center, Building 2000, Room 156 (425-304-3735), asks members in a high-risk category to contact it before arrival if possible, or immediately after: E-1 to E-4 with dependents, anyone married less than a year and a half, especially those married en route, and anyone reporting to a duty assignment for the first time.

Housing: Constitution Park and the HSC

All Navy family housing in Navy Region Northwest is under a Public/Private Venture contract with Hunt Military Communities, per the Naval Station Everett housing page. Everett’s community, Constitution Park in the City of Lake Stevens, 10 miles east of the station, has 141 single-family homes with three, four or five bedrooms and two-car garages, and in October 2026 the page said “The wait for Constitution Park is approximately 12 months or more.” BAH covers both rent and utilities, and residents must carry renter’s insurance with $100,000 of liability coverage, bought on their own or through Hunt.

Off base, the Housing Service Center is your first stop for rental listings and landlord or tenant issues: 2000 West Marine View Drive, Building 2028, Room 115 (425-304-3402 or 800-876-7022). Unaccompanied housing on the station is for active-duty E-4 and below, with three buildings housing 516 Sailors and an apartment-style complex, opened in 2009, with 504 more spaces.

Medical care

The David R. Ray Branch Medical Clinic is at 2000 West Marine View Drive, Building 2010 (425-304-4060), per the health care page.

Schools and pets

Families choose among the Snohomish County school districts, including Everett, Lake Stevens and Marysville, depending on where they live; the installation encourages you to contact the School Liaison Program at 360-328-9839, per the education page. A Snohomish County pet license is required for all adult dogs and cats in unincorporated Snohomish County, whether they live indoors or out, leash laws are enforced, and there is no pet quarantine, though pets need current rabies certification and a health certificate, per the shipping pets page.

The Legal Service Office is in Building 2000, Room 158 (425-304-4551), per the legal assistance page. Washington’s hands-free driving law and other state rules are covered in the Joint Base Lewis-McChord guide.

Before you arrive

Apply for Constitution Park as early as you can, because the wait runs a year or more, call the Housing Service Center about off-base rentals, and book your temporary quarters before you travel.
